why hov

Before you board.
Does hov make the content?
No. hov distributes it. You, your team or your agency make the posts; hov checks them, gets them approved, publishes them on time and shows you the results.
Is it safe to connect our accounts?
You log in on each network's own page, so hov never sees a password. Access keys are encrypted, never shown in the app, and deleted the moment you disconnect a channel.
Can a client approve without an account?
Yes. On the Agency plan your client gets a private link for each approval round. It opens only that round's posts and stops working after the deadline.
What if a network is down at posting time?
hov tries three times in fifteen minutes. If it still cannot publish, the post is marked held and the editor gets an email and a push with the reason and a retry button.
Which networks, and which formats?
TikTok videos, Instagram Reels and feed posts, Facebook Page posts and Reels, and LinkedIn posts on company pages or your own profile. YouTube Shorts, Threads, X and Pinterest come next. Formats the networks do not open to apps, like Stories with stickers, come as a reminder with the media and caption ready to post by hand.
Why not use the free scheduler in each app?
They each cover their own network, one brand at a time. They do not ask your client for approval, do not retry and warn you when a post fails, do not send you one recap across networks, and do not show every client on one board. hov does all of that by itself.
Can ChatGPT or Claude use hov?
Yes. hov has an MCP server, so any assistant that supports MCP can connect after you sign in and allow it. It can read the calendar and results, create drafts, schedule, pause and send posts for approval, only for the brands you choose. It cannot approve on anyone's behalf or skip your approval rules.
